With the trusses up, the roofers can get back to making things water
tight. It also highlighted a little oversight, are we lining the carport
ceiling or if not, how do we fill the rather large void where it joins the main
roof?
The bonus is that we now have some outside shelter for work to be done
and materials to be stored.
Inside, the tilers are back. The original wall provided a challenge but
the plasterers had added a truckload of mortar and the wall in 17 was studded
to get it straight.
The tiles chosen are similar to what we’ve had in the past, the
criteria for the floor tiles was easy care, a colour that hides any marks and
the wall tile have a ripple through them to mask any imperfections there may be
in the walls.
The attic ladders are installed and it’s clear there will be a fair bit
of usable space up there.
